Phase 2 - Restore

Building Foundations

In the first phase of programming and coaching we address your individual mobility restrictions and reduce as much of your pain as possible. The goal is also to reload and recondition your injury, bringing it back to a baseline level in preparation for the next step. This is much more than stretching. It is all about developing new and improving old movement patterns in order to lay a solid biomechanical foundation.

Phase 3 - Rebuild + Perform

Building Blocks For Success

In your second programming and coaching phase, we begin to challenge your body (and mind) by gradually exposing you to previously aggravating activities (with much less and often no pain). Following a successful Restore Phase, we can now increase strength and conditioning and expose you to more sports or activity-specific skills. We also ramp up the focus on improving your 'movement literacy' by progressing your movement patterns, along with your strength and cardiovascular capacity. At the end of this phase, you will have graduated from rehab and are ready to get back to doing what you love. You will then be ready to Thrive!

Phase 4 - Perform + Thrive

Without a doubt, this is the most crucial stage. We know (and science agrees) that strong bodies are resilient bodies! This takes TIME, and we will assist you every step of the way so that you can stay pain-free and perform at your best. Whether it's going to the beach every morning, playing sports on the weekends, or running after your kids, stronger people have more fun...and are harder to kill!

Faq.

Who is the MVMNT Plan for?

The MVMNT Plan is for those who have tried the traditional allied healthcare model to help get them out of pain with little or no success. You've found that other healthcare professionals don't understand or account for your health and fitness goals, so you find it hard to include your rehabilitation into your normal fitness routine. You're sick of being told to stop what you are doing!


We believe the current healthcare model isn't working for everyone. The traditional way of paying for services (based on how long you sit in front of a healthcare provider) is outdated and can be frustrating for both you and us. Our inclusive services go above and beyond. We not only take the time to develop programs that work and are tailored to you, but we support you throughout your entire rehabilitation program - not just during scheduled sessions. We know that regular communication, support and education of our clients is key to getting great results, and this is something we won't compromise on.

How does the MVMNT Plan work?

At The MVMNT Plan our Rehab Program (The Rehabilitation MVMNT Plan) is broken into 4 distinct phases:

Phase 1: MVMNT Reset (Week 1-2) - this phase is all about discovery and planning. 

Phase 2: MVMNT Restore (Month 1-6) - this phase is about getting you out of pain and building rock solid movement foundations.

Phase 3: MVMNT Rebuild (Month 7-12) - this phase is about integrating your sport or favourite physical activities back into your training.

Phase 4: MVMNT Thrive (Month 13-18+) - this is the longest and most important phase, this phase is about building strong and resilient bodies for anything life can throw at us.

Each phase has it's own all inclusive payment structure to ensure that the level of service needed for you to achieve your goals is delivered.

What can i expect from my Deep dive consultation?

The Deep Dive Consultation is the first step of our initial phase of rehabilitation, called The MVMNT Reset Phase. During this 1-on-1 session and by utilising the Deep Dive Questionnaire, we take a deep dive into your goals, expectations and desires for not just your rehabilitation, but also your bigger health and fitness goals. This session is the first step in helping us create your Rehabilitation MVMNT Plan, that will serve as a roadmap for your rehabilitation journey. After this consultation we can schedule the next step in this phase - the MVMNT Reset Session.

What is the MVMNT Reset session?

The MVMNT Reset Session is a 60 minute session where we conduct a functional movement screening, mobility testing, and strength and conditioning analysis to assess your current movement and physical capabilities, as well as assess your specific injuries or conditions.

From this session we can evaluate and begin to plan the specifics of your rehabilitation program which gets delivered during our next phase - the MVMNT Restore Phase.

What is the next step after the MVMNT Reset Phase?

The MVMNT Restore Phase is the next step in our journey to help you get out of pain and back to what you love doing. 

During the MVMNT Restore Phase, we will design and deliver a personalised training program that is tailored to your individual needs. This phase is focused on strengthening and rehabilitating any injured areas and restoring your overall function. By the end of this phase, you can expect to feel stronger, more mobile, and better able to tackle the next phase of your rehabilitation and training. The next phase (The MVMNT Rebuild Phase) will focus on more specific strength and conditioning exercises and really expand on the foundations built during the Restore Phase.

What is the MVMNT Rebuild Phase?

The MVMNT Rebuild Phase is an essential part of your rehabilitation journey. This phase focuses on building sport-specific strength, conditioning, skills, and preparing you for your return to sport/play. The program blocks are designed to increase the strength, conditioning, and skills required for your chosen sport or activity, with the ultimate goal of getting you back to your sport or activity unhindered by your injury.

Once you have successfully completed the MVMNT Rebuild Phase, you will move on to the final phase of rehabilitation - The MVMNT Resilience Phase - which is crucial for your long-term success.

What is the MVMNT THRIVE Phase?

The MVMNT Thrive Phase completes the phases of our rehabilitation and is arguably the most important - this phase is all about injury prevention. Basically, our goal is to make you more resilient, stronger and healthier. To keep you doing what you love doing for longer by preventing re-injury as well as reducing the risk of other injuries.

This phase is where we transition from a rehabilitation focus to a performance focus and really start to dial into those health and fitness goals while building a stronger and more resilient body.

I've been told to stop exercising/training because of my injury or condition. What should I do?

If you have been advised to stop exercising due to an injury or health condition, it is important to remember that exercise is often an integral part of the healing and rehabilitation process (as well as the management of most chronic diseases). While it may be necessary to modify your exercise routine or take a temporary break from certain activities, completely stopping exercise can often have negative consequences for your physical and mental health.

We work with you to identify safe and appropriate ways to continue moving your body and rehabilitating your injury or condition through personalised programs that include mobility and strengthening exercises.

I'm currently doing a group exercise program. Do I have to give that up?

While we may need to modify things, we encourage most of our clients to continue doing both to support their goals and especially if it is something that they love and wish to continue.

One of our biggest goals is to keep our clients doing what they love! You don't need to be a member of World Gym to receive our services and we are more than happy to work with any other local health and fitness professionals to aid in your rehabilitation.

Why is the MVMNT Plan an semi-inclusive program?

We believe the current allied healthcare model is flawed. Traditional allied healthcare services, based on the time you pay to sit in front of them, are outdated, inefficient and ineffective for both you and us.

We offer a semi-inclusive model, which means you pay per phase of the rehabilitation process (e.g. The MVMNT Reset Phase) and have the option to continue on your own or (for the best outcomes) move on to the next phase of The MVMNT Plan.

Our services truly support you throughout the entirety of the Program - not just when you're booked in for your consultation, assessment session or a weekly session. Our clients have frequent touch points and the ability to ask questions outside of these times and this is what gets our clients amazing results (what we are in this industry to achieve)!
