How Does Move + Thrive Work?

Assess & Reset

We take the time in our Deep Dive Consultation during your first phase of working with The MVMNT Plan to get to know you, your history, and your goals. We then take this understanding and perform functional testing in our Reset Session, which is designed to provide tangible metrics to measure your progress while also identifying areas in your programming that need to be addressed.

Develop & Elevate

The magic happens in the next two phases. Following the Assess & Reset Phase, you move on to the Develop and Elevate Phases, which are guided by evidence-based strength and conditioning milestones and metrics derived from your functional assessment and regular review assessments.


These two phases are all about developing and elevating your movement and lifestyle literacy to level where it maximises you health and quality of life.

Freedom

Without a doubt, this is the most crucial stage.

At the end of the day, what's the point of learning how to move better and feel better if you're reliant on us to stay that way?

This phase is all about doing exactly what it says: giving you the option...the Freedom to continue on your health and fitness journey your way. We do like to hope that we do such a great job that you want to keep working with us. But we also want to do such a great job that you no longer need us!

MVMNT PLAN CONSULTATION

This consultation is our opportunity to have a conversation and explain how we can confidently support you in achieving your goals. If we or you determine that we are unable to assist you, we will gladly give you some advice on who you might be able to speak with and refer you on.

This is the first step if you are serious about changing your life and are ready to stop letting your body get in the way of living your best life!

Phase 2 - Develop

Building Foundations

In the first phase of programming blocks, we address your individual mobility restrictions and manage any pain or niggles that you may already have. The goal is then to begin to teach you how to move better, more functionally, and with perfect technique in preparation for the next step. This is much more than stretching and lifting weights. It is all about developing new and improving old movement patterns in order to lay a solid biomechanical foundation.

Phase 3 - Elevate 

Building Blocks For Success

In your second programming phase, we begin to challenge your body (and mind) by gradually exposing you to more complex movements and activities. Following a successful Develop Phase, we can now further increase strength and conditioning and expose you to a broader range of movements and skills. At the end of this phase, you will have graduated from The MVMNT Plan and are ready to continue on your health and fitness journey in any direction you would like—with or without us!

Phase 4 - Freedom

THE BEGINNING OF THE REST OF YOUR JOURNEY

Without a doubt, this is the most crucial stage. We know (and it's counterintuitive to business) that you most likely don't want to be reliant on us for the rest of you life!

By this time, we want you to be at the point where you feel like you can confidently perform at your best and continue your health and fitness journey without us.

We also would like to have done such a great job that you would want to keep working with us, helping you achieve whatever new goals and aspirations you might now have with your stronger, more functional body and dialled in lifestyle habits.
